Corporal Norman Joseph Cross – notification by Martin Cross

Good morning, I am asking a small favour… my father died on 3rd July just short of his 91st birthday. Looking through his possessions he has a book Borderers in Battle in which he has written Cpl N.J. Cross. D Coy, 6th(Border) Bn KOSB. 1944-1947. He did say he loved his time with KOSB. He never talked about his war encounters but his biggest regret he said was ‘we were advancing so fast we couldn’t even bury our mates’. A small mention in your news section on his behalf would be much appreciated. the funeral is 21st July many thanks Martin Cross (son)
