Eva Woollcombe – Notification

With sadness and regret we inform you of the death of Eva Woollcombe.  Eva, ‘Lady of the Regiment’ was the widow of Robert Woollcombe KOSB officer and author of ‘All The Blue Bonnets’ and ‘Lion Rampant’. The latter a most outstanding account of his personal experiences as a rifle company officer in the 6th Battalion during WW2. ‘Lion Rampant’ was reviewed by Max Hastings as ‘One of the most vivid personal memoirs of the Second World War’.
