James Simpson – Obituary

It is with deep regret that we inform you of the death of James Simpson who died on 13th October 2016 at the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, Fife aged 54.
James served in the 1st Battalion King’s Own Scottish Borderers from 1979 until 1989 and undertook tours of duty in Germany, Kenya and Northern Ireland. On behalf of its members, the King’s Own Scottish Borderers Association has extended its sincere condolences and sympathy to James’s family at this very difficult time.
Funeral arrangements have been notified as follows. Tuesday 25th October 2016 at 9.30 am, Kirkcaldy Crematorium, Rosemount Avenue, Kirkcaldy, Fife KY2 6HQ.
Refreshments will be served after the service at Methilhill Bowling Club, Main Street, Methilhill, Fife KY8 2PD.
