JOY ALSTEAD – NOTIFICATION

With regret and much sadness we inform you of the death of Joy, wife of Brigadier Allan Alstead CBE, on Saturday 20th July. Funeral arrangements as announced by the family follows:

ALSTEAD née Edwards Joy Veronica on 20 July. Beloved wife of Allan, proud mum of Robert and Jonathan, and loving granny to Alex, Finlay,Tabby and Violet. She lived life to the full to the end. Private family cremation. Celebration of Life at 2pm, 9 August at Canongate Kirk. At Joy’s request, please wear bright and colourful clothes. No flowers; donations to St Columba’s Hospice. 

LANCE CORPORAL CHARLES BLACKLEY – FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS

The funeral of CHARLES (GINGE) BLACKLEY will take place at Mortonhall Crematorium on Saturday 03 Aug at 1000, then onwards to Lasswade Rugby Club for tea.
The family have requested family flowers only, and that any donations are made to Ward 206 and Poppy Scotland.
