Lance Corporal Jimmy Buchan – Obituary
Gentlemen,
It is with deep regret that I inform you of the death of Lance Corporal James (Jimmy) Buchan who sadly passed away on Saturday 26thDecember 2016 aged 63 at East Surrey Hospital after a short illness. James entered Boy Service at Shorncliffe Camp, Folkestone in 1968 and served with 1 KOSB until his discharge in 1975. Jimmy served as a company clerk with Support Company and was a member of the Mortar Platoon undertaking tours in Edinburgh, Berlin, Northern Ireland and Fort George.
On behalf of its members, the KOSB Association has extended its sincere condolences and sympathy to Jimmy’s brother Andy (KOSB) and wider family members at this particularly difficult time.
