It is with deep regret that we inform you of the death of LCpl Jimmy Liddell, who sadly died on Wednesday 22nd March 2017 in Colchester Hospital, Essex aged 74.
Jimmy originally joined the Army Catering Corps in May 1960, serving for two years before being discharged in April 1962. Jimmy subsequently enlisted into the King’s Own Scottish Borderers in January 1965; serving in Singapore, Malaya, Borneo, Libya, Northern Ireland, BAOR, Berlin, Belize, U.S.A. and Kenya before retiring in September 1986 after 22 years’ service.
