MUSEUM CLOSURE

Borderers, due to the Corona virus pandemic and restrictions placed by HM Government, English Heritage who own our site have declared that the site will remain closed until 01 May 2020 at that date a further assessment will be made as to when or if the site will open.
The museum assistant Ian Martin has retired wef 18 mar 2020 leaving the EXO in place. The office will be closed AD 20 Mar 2020 until FP 30 Mar 2020, from Mon 30 Mar the office will be manned on weekdays 0900-1630. Work will continue around the museum in preparation for eventual opening, any Borderer wishing to visit should phone ahead as the main site gates will be locked.
