NOTIFICATION 17 of 2019 and DIARY UPDATE

15 June 2019

Borderers,

CHAIRMAN OF THE KOSB AT THE CENOTAPH COMMITTEE – FROM THE KOSB ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT

‘After nearly eleven years as the Chairman of our Cenotaph Organising Committee, John Pullman has decided to stand down. He has been an outstanding Chairman over this extended period, and has taken our presence at this key national memorial event from a handful in the early days to seventy last November, when we were comfortably the largest Scottish Division contingent. John’s powers of persuasion, organisation and delegation were evident throughout, and when combined with his natural energy and determination proved to be an unstoppable force. All of us in the Association owe him a great debt of gratitude, and we wish him all the best for a swift recovery to full health and look forward to having him in the ranks again this year.

Peter Hogg steps up to the role of Chairman with effect from today, 1 June, and will be a most effective and equally persuasive leader of the committee.’
