Private Edgar Duke – Notification

It is with deep regret that we inform you of the death of Private Edgar Alexander Duke who sadly died on Tuesday 19^th June 2018 in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kings Lynn, Norfolk aged 75.

Born in Dumfries in 1943, Edgar joined the 1^st Battalion King’s Own Scottish Borderers in 1960 and served in Aden, Berlin and Shorncliffe before leaving the regiment in 1967.
