REMEMBRANCE AND KOREA 70

Borderers, this year see the 70th anniversary of the start of the KOREAN WAR and as part of the Remembrance commemorations our own SIR WILLIE PURVES CBE DSO has been interviewed by the BBC about his and the Bns experiences. This will be broadcast at 2100 on Sat 07 Nov.

Willie originally from Kelso was the only National Service Officer to be awarded the DSO during the Korean War.
