Sandy Donaldson – Notification

Borderers,

It is with deep regret that we inform you of the death of Sandy Donaldson who sadly died on Wednesday 22nd February 2017 at the Galloway Community Hospital, Stranraer aged 70. Sandy originally enlisted into the Royal Armoured Corps in 1963 then transferred to the King’s Own Scottish Borderers. Sandy served with the 1st Battalion in Hong Kong, Singapore, Borneo, BAOR and Northern Ireland.

On behalf of its members, the King’s Own Scottish Borderers Association has extended its sincere condolences to Sandy’s son Andrew and wider family members at this particularly difficult time.

Funeral details have been notified as Friday 3 March 2017, 3.00 pm, Masonhill Crematorium, Ayr KA6 6EN.

Refreshments will be available post service at: Fairfield House Hotel, 12 Fairfield Road, Ayr KA7 2AS. Sandy’s family have requested family flowers only please.
