As I hope you are aware the Army’s national charity holds one of its biggest events in the Perthshire countryside annually – the CATERAN YOMP, to ensure this national event is successful we require volunteers to assist throughout the event or even partially. To that end I ask you to push out this volunteer request for assistance during this years Cateran Yomp scheduled for 3-5 Jun 22.
Best 2 methods to show interest in volunteering are as follows:
Register with the National Events Team – VOLUNTEER AT THE YOMP
Get in touch with the Scotland Office email@example.com or 0131 376 4008. Leave your contact details & we will be in touch.
If there are any further questions then please contact the Scotland office as per details above.
Without the support of our volunteers this event simply couldn’t happen. Volunteers help us with all aspects of the event, from marketing it, to registering participants on the day, manning checkpoints and provided much-needed support to our walkers.
The benefits of volunteering are:
- You can play a significant part in an exciting fundraising event
- You will get to see this remote and stunning area in Perthshire and meet like-minded people
- A fun day (or night!) outdoors
- No previous experience is required and lots of support will be given throughout the event
If you are interested in volunteering at the Yomp follow the link above to head through to our volunteer site. From there click on ‘register’ and choose The Cateran Yomp. If you have any direct questions to the National Events Team, call them on 020 7811 3223.
Thanks in advance for reading as far as you have, can I ask you to circulate this widely through the KOSB network, with the hope that some are willing to give up their Jubilee weekend to assist their charity.
