Borderers,
it is with great sadness we notify of the death of CORPORAL BRIAN WILLIAM BLACKIE on 16 October 2023.
Brian served with the 1st BN 1975-1989, mostly in the BN orderly room.
His funeral will take place on Friday 10th November at 1315hrs at Hereford Crematorium HR4 0JE, afterwards tea will be available at the Bay Horse Inn Hereford HR4 0SD. Family flowers only please, donations can be made to Brain tumour research UK or St Michaels Hospice Hereford in memory of Brian. His family requests that those Borderers attending wear trews, medals and glengarries.
