Derek ‘Sid’ Paterson

Borderers, it is with great sadness that we notify you of the death of Derek ‘Sid’ Paterson on the 18th of August 2024.

Derek was born in Ringford on the 11th of August 1935. He joined the Regiment on the 1st of January 1957 and was discharged as WO2 on the 1st of January 1981. He is survived by his wife and son.
