LIEUTENANT COLONEL J B (BARNEY) HENDERSON

Borderers, it is with great sadness that we notify you of the passing of LIEUTENANT COLONEL BARNEY HENDERSON on Sat 28 March 2020.

Barney served with the 1st Bn from 1950 until 1976 in various posts at RD and E and was a great supporter of all things Regimental. During the Korean War Barney Commanded 12 Platoon D Company and was wounded during the “Guy Fawkes” battle in 1951.

Funeral arrangements will be notified when known however please bear in mind current Government restrictions.
