MAJOR RALPH ALASTAIR BROOKS MC

Borderers, it is with great sadness that we notify of the passing of MAJOR RALPH ALASTAIR BROOKS MC on Wednesday 17 February 2021 aged 89.

Alastair was one of our few remaining National Service Officers, having served in KOREA where he was awarded the MILITARY CROSS as 6 Platoon Commander. After his service with the 1st Bn he transferred to the TA in June 1952 serving with the 4th Bn then 4/5th KOSB until retiring as a Major in 1967.
