Borderers it is with sadness that we inform you of the passing of a D Day veteran, PRIVATE JACK RHODES on 16 Dec 2019. Jack served with the 1st Bn landing on Sword beach on D Day and was wounded in the fight for Caen. He was awarded the Legion d’honneur in 2016
