PRIVATE JOHN MURRAY CUMMING

Borderers, it is with great sadness that we notify you of the passing of PRIVATE JOHN MURRAY CUMMING on 10 May 2021 aged 84 years.
Murray served with the 1st Bn in Malaya 1957/58 as a National Serviceman. He also played rugby for Earlston and of course the 1st Bn who won the 1958 Malayan Command Rugby Shield and were beaten finalists in the 1958 Far East Rugby Cup.
His funeral will take place at The Borders Crematorium, Melrose, TD6 9HA on Tuesday 18 May 2021 at 1200 hrs.
