Borderers, it is with sadness we inform you of the passing of SERGEANT HUGH GALLOWAY on 29 Jan 2020, Shug as he was known to all served in the 1st Bn from 1959-1978. A renowned footballer and stalwart of the Bn team throughout his service, leading the team as Captain for many years.
