it is with great sadness that we notify you of the death of WARRANT OFFICER CLASS 1 (RSM) JAMES ANDERSON on 20th October 2023.
Jim aka “Busty” served with the 1st BN 1956-1979, he was a renowned rugby player and a member of the Regiments Army Cup winning squads of 1960 and 1961.
There is a memorial service on Saturday 28th October at 1100hrs at the Veterans Garden Dumfries, the breakfast club at 1030 will provide bacon rolls for Borderers in memory of Jim.
