MUSEUM CLOSURE

Borderers,

the KOSB Regimental Museum is now closed with effect 30 Sep 2023. The complete collection is being checked, conditioned and packed in preparation for a move to a temporary facility within the Barracks. During this period our current site will be converted into a shared space for the Berwick town museum, Burrell collection, Berwick archive, Maltings gallery and KOSB as part of The Living Barracks project.

The work is planned to begin in Nov 2024 with a completion date of late 2026. Afterwards the KOSB will setup in a new modern museum facility.

Our research facility and welfare support will continue from our temporary home which we plan to move into in May 2024, details will be published when known. In the meantime we will continue to operate from our current museum and offices.
