It is with deep regret that we inform you of the death of Danny Greer who died on Wednesday 20th September 2017. Danny was a superb musician in the Regimental Band, successfully attended the three year bandmaster’s course at Knellar Hall then subsequently was appointed Bandmaster of the Regimental Band 1RHF. His last parade with Borderers was the Cenotaph 2016.
On behalf of all members, the King’s Own Scottish Borderers Association extends its sincere condolences and sympathy to Danny’s wife Helen at this particularly difficult time.
The funeral service for Danny Greer will take place on Friday 20th October 2017 at 1.00pm, at St. Mary’s Church, High Street, Great Baddow, Chelmsford CM2 7HN. This will be followed by a burial service at The Lawn Cemetery, Vicarage Lane, Great Baddow, Chelmsford.
After the service, those present are invited to The Crown, Sandon Green, Sandon CM2 7SH for refreshments.
