It is with the greatest regret that I inform you of the death of CSgt Chic Storrie who died peacefully at home on Friday 10 July after a short illness. Chick joined the Army in 1962 and served in a number of roles with 1 KOSB throughout the 1960s and ’70s. After leaving the Army Chic settled in Berwick and took on the role of Treasurer of the Association’s Berwick Branch. He took on a full and active role in Branch and Regimental events up until a few months ago when his ill health took its toll. Chic’s enthusiasm for the Regiment, along with his sharp sense of humour, will be missed by everyone who knew him.
At Chic’s request, there will be a private family funeral with no flowers.
